First Contact

First Contact is a sandbox RPG system from Fool's Moon Entertainment that uses their new SET (6/8/10) engine. Designed for quick character creation, SET allows you to focus play at three different levels using the same rules - the different die types handle the different play scales. Each roll of the dice creates a back and forth between you and the game master in an attempt to capture the most dice from the other, making any combat or challenge interesting and different.

First Contact contains rules for starships, command staff, and general crew, how to create aliens and psychics, rules variants for alternative focus, and a quick example setting and sample character for you to flesh out and make your own.
