This supplement adds in a new resource (wealth) and customizable mechs that you can continue to upgrade as you play. Inside you'll find:
New World Truths
Two new assets (Mech Printer and Wealth Management)
Four mech chassis with their own abilities
Weapons, armor, sensor, and utility modules for mechs
You also get mech character sheets, print n' play asset cards, PNG files of the cards for uploading to your favorite VTT.
Using Mecha Mercs for Other RPGs
First of all, if you're not playing Shawn Tomkin's Ironsworn: Starforged game, what are you waiting for?! It's a great game that has all the drivers you need to make excellent sci-fi stories with just the right amount of grit. Not only is the final Kickstarter version available right now digitally, but the physical version will be on sale soon as well.
As great as Starforged is, you could also use the ideas for mechs included here for almost any other gritty, sci-fi system or setting. That being said, a more narrative-based system would work best if you are porting this over to another game system.
